2008 – 2009
We're Younger Now than We're Ever Gonna Be began as a collection of sketches made while living Southern Japan. The imagery stuck and grew into a broader exploration of childhood and play. Both innocent and unsettling, this body of work stems from story, hearsay, experience and imagination.
All works are oil-based mixed media illustrations on canvas, paper or wood.
We’re Younger Now than We’re Ever Gonna Be was exhibited at Trinity Galleries in Saint John, N.B. Canada, in 2009.
Thank you to Babette Hayward for performing at the opening.
Thank you to Amalie Atkins for allowing a screening of Three Minute Miracle to be part of the exhibition.
